ASV: SPRING 2023 SCHEDULE:
AS YOU LIKE IT
HENRY IV PART ONE (we meet FALSTAFF)
This spring's cycle will consist of EIGHT classes on THURSDAYS, 7-10:30PM (via Zoom), organized around AS YOU LIKE IT and EIGHT classes on SATURDAYS, 1130AM-2:30PM, organized around HENRY IV Part one. For the convenience of students who live on the West Coast, Thursday's classes will be taught via ZOOM. Saturday's classes will be taught IN PERSON, LIVE, right here in Manhattan, at 444 Central Park West! (I dread these live classes, because it means I will have to vacuum.)
This cycle is slightly related to the previous one. I am trying to teach the Second Tetralogy, and taught Richard II in the fall.
AUDITING: You may audit any of the Zoom classes you wish.There are no free sample classes this cycle. Shetler Studios, where I was accustomed to teach the free classes, went out of business during the pandemic, although they are apparently being revived as AMDA Studios.
AYL (As You Like It) CLASSES ARE BEING TAUGHT VIRTUALLY, OVER THE INTERNET,
THIS STARTED DURING THE PANDEMIC BUT I'M CONTINUING IT FOR THE BENEFIT OF STUDENTS WHO LIVE ON THE WEST COAST.
FOR 1 HENRY IV, WE'LL DEFY DEATH. PLEASE GET VACCINATED. I'm hoping covid takes Saturdays off.

If you are brand-new student--that is, have never worked with me before--the cost will be $50/class, payable all at once or by the class (gasp!). If you are a former student from no matter how long ago, you will pay the old rate. If you need a special payment plan, please discuss it with me.

I try to keep the class at a reasonable size, so that people can work on their monologues. I've had to extend class time by 1/2 hour to try to fit more monologues in. Last fall the class always ran over.
